The project “Management of hazardous waste produced by households” aims at promoting the diversion of the stream of hazardous waste generated by households from municipal waste to permitted hazardous waste management facilities for appropriate treatment.

Through the provision of information, the project’s objective is to increase awareness about the “waste hierarchy”, prevention, re-use and recycling.
